Auto-Mower-Spark-Checker
Description
The coat hanger wire seems way too strong and not springy enough, yet will work. It's just hard to bend and just not spring-like. I will try and check some baling wire next. Coat hangers are just already around most homes. Does the mower not want to start??? Check the plug wire for spark!! This handy spark checker will come in handy when the old mower just want run. Also when your fine, nice caddy want ribb-up to par. You need hot spark on your car cylinders as well. It will check the spark on any motor using a spark plug. Use a small file to get the gap right and check on working mower before glueing clips. The clip side can be bent anyway you choose. Make it a large clip or small clip. !!!!! Coat hangers have a thick coat of shellac/enamel to prevent rust. Crap it off GOOD at contact points. !!!!! Push the mower into a shady area in order to see the spark well. Just clip the ground side to someplace close to the plug. Now disconnect the plug wire and push it onto the other side of the checker. Have someone pull the start cord (don't touch the checker or wire) as you watch for spark. That easy. **** Make the HOT side that connects to the plug wire about 1 inch long protruding out of the body. That will work better. ****** Maybe gap a bit less than 1/32 inch. That should show spark on near all magnetos !! $$$ Also check your new tool on a good running mower!!!! :) Enjoy your new TOOL!! $$$ Mine works great after checking and adjusting on a good hot spark plug. After adjusting and checking it, glue in the small clips so it will be ready when needed. Hope it helps you, Thanks and Happy Printing!! :)
