Anti Compliant Mechanism
Description
I was going to design a compliant mechanism, but realized I liked hinges more than I liked flexible weak points. So enjoy this "holder" mechanism! It has a 2 inch internal diameter, which is "perfect" for your average spice jar/bottle, but it could be scaled up or down to hold just about anything. I was thinking about scaling it down for a broom holder. This is to be printed as 1 piece in place! BEFORE you remove from the print bed, feed some 1.75mm filament into the hinges. Then remove from the build plate and it should function. (I was being impatient and the picture of the blue one I printed was only about 70%-ish complete, but I was just making sure the concept functioned as intended.)
