Maple sap collection cap for gallon milk jug
Description
It started raining while collecting sap so I wanted the sap collection tube to enter from the side of the cap rather than a hole in the top. Not sure how much rain would actually make it in through the hole in the original cap but I like the clean look of this one. This is a remixed The One Gallon Milk Jug Cap to add a side inlet. 5/16 ID vinyl tubing fits loosely into the hole from the side. Drip stop slides over the tubing to prevent rain following the tub into the hole. On my 5 gallon pail I just uses the Drip stop over the tubing. There a other parts I modeled for sap collection also, a 5/16 Dia. spile and Tubing Tee. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5346972
