Red Squirrel rev 1 for 5020 blower
Description
Hi there. This is mod of Red Squirrel fang to hold a 5020 blower (radial fan). I repositioned the blower screw holes (upper arm, and lower pin) and I also had to make air intake bigger to match 5020 blower outlet. For this purpose I used 5020 model from here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4077476 - thanks. I also doublechecked it against documentation from **Sunon** (I am using **GB1205PKV1-8AY** and planning quieter MF50201V3-1B00U-A99 - it should be just a swap). After print I tried to pour some watter in if there is any leaks and it was perfect. After install I also placed bowl with watter below and tried it. Looks good. Placed on mine Ender 3 Pro but will work everywhere where Red Squirrel Rev1 works. **Screews you need:** M3x10 to hold front 4020 - 4x M3x25 to hold blower by front arm M3x20 to hold blower by clamp *(I didn't used this, all is perfectly tight only screwed to arm)* M2x5 to secure the clamp - 2x *(I had M2x10 so I had to cut them..)* **For BL-Touch** I used this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5320127. It sits there perfectly! Only before print watch out on orienting it on printbed (just place it on back and print it with supports). --- **Why 5020?** *I was looking for something quiet and heard about that Noctua 4020 can have unsufficient static presure for part cooling. But blowers are so loud. Ok, took the biggest what can fit and set the rpm to looow :)* *Well, mine should be 35dBA but at full speed it is something like hairdrier :( At 40% - 50% it is blowing still more air than Creality original and is quieter. At 50% there is some high pitch from PWM (mine mainboard is SKR E3 RRF, hope to solve this), 33%-40% is acceptable for me. The minimum to start the blower is 30% RPM, but than it can hold it down to 15% RPM (which I plan for PETG if not off completely).* --- *Update 10.4.2022:* **WARNING** Print it with material with better heat resistance (e.g. ABS) or **don't forget to use silicon heatblock sock** at least. Otherwise it will deform at the heater block connection while printing PETG with part fan off.
