#3 Ender 2 Pro Mods
Description
DUEL PARTS COOLER FANS ON ENDER 2 PRO =================================================================== Update 4-13-2022 I have changed the bracket out for one that goes all the way across to the metal fan mount on the left. You will have to hold the new part in place and run a 2mm screw threw the front 2 holes of the metal bracket to score the surface so you know where to drill the 4mm hole for the pegs on the back of the metal bracket to sit into. Then in the center of those 2 holes, drill through until you come out in the front fan hole. This will give the two front 2mm screws the ability to pull the new bracket up snug against the metal fan bracket. I have removed the old file and replaced it with the latest version. Ignore the third bottom hole on the right side of the mounting bracket. The second hole down is partially stripped, so I am going to drill and tap a third hols, and move the bottom screw down. There are holes in the front of the bracket next to the hot end cooling fan on the left side. Those are so you can use a hex key wrench through the front for the mounting screws on the left side. Update 4-12-2022: I am working on an improved version of the Duel Fan Bracket. Just a little more work, and it will go all the way across the front and will have the ability to be screwed into the opposing parts cooling fan mount. With this, I will be able to start on a decent looking X Carriage cover.......Be patient. It will be out soon. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS] I have not completed the instructions on this build. Please be patient. I will get this done over the next few weeks. Ok, first you need to print the parts as they are. I added supports to the fan duct.
