diamond drag bit spring mount for engraving with CNC 3018
Description
This is a set to make a cheap mount for engraving with diamond drag-bit with diameter 3.175 mm on CNC 3018. It uses printed plates as springs and the best setting of depth/pressure for it is 0.5 mm for acrylic and 0.3 mm for aluminum. The main mount was printed using PLA with resolution 0.32 mm and infill 80%. It is sturdy enough for home/hobby usage. The infill for other of items is not critical. There is a separate cylinder-block just for easier removing from CNC spindle mount. It fits a default spindle-mount 44 mm. I attached also an adapter to a bigger spindle-mount 52 mm.
