Description
Tool box lid latch. to replace the latch you will need to remove the old latch. Keep the metal plate and spring from the old latch purchase 2 x 3mm bolts and nuts from the hardware store. In the attached picture, you can see 2 x different bolts. 1 is a metal one and another is a nylon one. It's your personal preference as to which one to use. Both bolts are strong. Insert the spring kept from the old latch into the new latch and place into the lid. Place the metal plate from the old latch onto the new latch and tighten up the nuts. I used a strong side cutters to cut off the excess thread from the bolt.
