Http://Stephanie.Ninirose.Com/Miniature-Hybrid-Met This Sculpture Was Created For A Malagan Ceremony, One Of The Most Large-Scale And Famous Of The Many Events That Take Place Within The Malagan Culture. They Take Place Irregularly, And Are Typically Large And Complex Events, Taking Several Days, And Requiring Months Or Years Of Preparation. This Colossal Funerary Calved Sphinx, Exquisite It Is, Is Actually Only The Conclusion Of This Complex Set Of Funeral Ceremonies. It Portrays The Female Pharaoh Hatshepsut With The Body Which Has Be Carved In Order To Capture The Deceased Person’S Character And Spirit.
