Light mount for Losi XXX-NT 1/10 RC truck
Description
A quick project for a front light mount on the Losi XXX-NT stadium truck. Mounts with a zip tie around the plastic front top side support. The lighting used is a SingFire bike light I had lying around. There are many on ebay just like it under different names. I removed all the LED electronics and controls and used an adjustable buck converter to go from 6v (ESC receiver output voltage) to 2.8v which seemed like a good brightness. Adjusting the buck converter will change the intensity of the light. I used a single channel light controller like this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/114785713990?var=414946741950 to allow for control from an aux on the controller. The light can be turned off and on without touching the car that way. A step is provided to ease modification. This was designed in FreeCAD LinkBranch (a fork of FreeCAD). If you would like the FCStd file I'm happy to provide it just let me know. Step tends to be more helpful though as it works in a wider range of tools.
