Stream Deck MK.2 Mountable Dock
Description
I recently upgraded from a Stream Deck Mini to a full sized stream deck. I found that there weren't really any base mounts/stands for the MK.2, and the dimensions are just different enough that mounts for the MK.1 deck do not fit fully on the MK.2. So I set about making an updated version of my desk mount for the mini. Huge thanks to Rooster242 for their invisible case design. It saved me a tremendous amount of time getting exact measurements and printing test designs. The MK.2 will snap right into place and can still be relatively easily removed, but the mount will have enough hold that you can turn it upsidedown and violently shake it without dislodging the unit. There are three different versions: - Hidden Wiring Channel: There is a opening on the back for a USB cable, and then a wiring channel that exits the rightmost side when facing the mount. This can work for any USB cable including the angled one that comes with the MK.2, but you will likely need to ensure you have some extra slack pushed in to reduce strain. This is the version I use. - Right Wiring Channel: There is an opening starting from the middle of the back and going to the rightmost side when facing the mount. This should work for most USB cables, including the cable that comes with the MK.2, although extra slack may need to be pushed in with that cable. - Top Wiring Channel: This is closest to the design that Rooster242's case already had. This is mostly designed for the cable that comes with the MK.2 which has an angled USB connector.
