MKS GEN V1.2 MOUNT PLATE
Description
This is a mount intended to attach an MKS GEN controller board to 40mm v-slot. In addition, you will need: * 4x M4 t-nut * 4x M4 nut * 8x M4x10 screw Be careful choosing your infill and be sure to preview the slice. You want infill lines that intersect all the screw holes at least once, substantially. Octet infill with a 5mm line gap worked for me in Cura. The nuts often seem too big for the recesses intended for them, but I've found that by gently fitting the screw and nut you can tighten them into perfect placement. I had a lot of "fun" getting my Ender 5 plus dimensionally accurate enough to print this and have it work. If you do too, I cannot recommend Teaching Tech's calibration videos enough. If you'll be doing a lot of dimensionally accurate prints it is absolutely worth investing in an inexpensive dial gauge and taking the time to get this "right". (Even when "right" I still needed a minor adjustment to my X-steps... your mileage may vary.) Remember to mount your MKS GEN with the stepper connections toward the rail or you will block the USB connection. ;-).
