Repair Lock Pin for Honda XL 650 Transalp
Description
My solution for repairing side plastic mounts on a Honda Transalp 650 (I call them "piptik"). This will work if only the edge of the mount is broken, but the leg is preserved. The idea is that the repair fastener is screwed into a thread that will need to be cut into the plastic (see photo). If the mount breaks again, you can unscrew the rest with a flathead screwdriver and screw in a new mount.
