Tree Propagation Bowl

Tree Propagation Bowl

Description

As you know, some trees can reproduce through cuttings. For a long time the accepted method of doing this was by cutting the branch with a sharp knife during the right time of year, putting root hormone on it and hoping that roots would form. But if you've ever had a spider plant you know that the babies do best if you plant them in soil while they're still attached to their mother, and then cutting the cord once they're established. This is the same principle, and I found out about it here: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/_zGHHw3VdjY The video pretty much says it all. The photos I have is of trying to propagate from a red cedar that's less than 3 years old, so it's small in order to work. The one next to it was scaled to 150%. For most tree cuttings, I'd recommend scaling it to 200%. I just attached this today. Will update with photos in a month of how it turned out.
