Tandy 1000 HX Gotek Mount
Description
This is a very simple Gotek frame and faceplate for the Tandy 1000 HX (maybe it works with other models, but I have no idea). There's another, far fancier Gotek mount available on Thingiverse which is super cool, but I found it a real PITA to assemble so I designed this one for the rest of us who just want it to work and not look terrible. There are two versions of the faceplate. One has a hole for an LED that you can connect to your CF or other mass storage solution to bring a hard disk activity light to the front of the machine. There is also a plain version of the faceplate if that's not your thing. This is still a work in progress and I will likely tweak it a bit going forward. Still, it seems to work pretty well as-is, so I've decided to release it to the public. Be sure before you use this that you do your research on how to install a Gotek drive into the 1000 HX. Tandy's floppy interface is... quirky. You have to modify the drive, or it WILL be permanently damaged. Trust me on this. Google/YouTube are your friends in this matter.
