DTNVS Sacrificial Lens
Description
Sacrificial Lens and covers for DTNVS night vision. I used Plastics 2000 Lexan Sheet - Polycarbonate - .060" - 1/16" Thick, Clear, 12" x 12" Nominal from amazon as the lens. Cut out the basic shape and use a file to round it down until it fits inside snug. The lens covers are to protect the tubes if you wear them during the day or just prior to the sun going down. It has recently been proven that the sun can damage a tube even if it's off. So, on your head in the stowed position.
