S Gauge Model Railroad Track Gauge Tool
Description
I am working with a Lionel / American Flyers S Gauge / Scale track project and I could not find plastic insulators to provide electrical blocks on the figure-eight portion of the track. On one of the Facebook groups I am a member of someone suggested an alternative, O gauge, they are en route so I am waiting. What I made here is two S Gauge Track alignment blocks to place over the rails. The rails are not strongly bound to the plastic base and I have to cut them (original plan) with my Dremel tool and the 1/32nd thickness cutting wheel. These blocks should hold the rails in place. And due to the shape and size of the Dremel tool, it has to be a bevel cut. The print time for the larger block was about 1 hour and 14 minutes, the print time for the smaller block was about 51 minutes. They rest nicely on the track. HIGHLY RECOMMEND PRINTING WITH THE TRACK SLOTS UP!!!
