Fume extractor using 120mm fan sending the fumes out through vacuum cleaner HEPA cartridge ... works with HEPA cartridge for: AEG Viva Spin AVS 1800 Trio AEG Viva Spin AVS 7400..7499 MIOSTAR VAC 5000 TORNADO Coriolys TO 7465 TORNADO Coriolys TO 7470 TORNADO Coriolys TO 7472P TORNADO Coriolys TO 7475 FreeCAD source attached Print the -body part in PLA or ABS or PETG .. needs support for the hooks so PLA is kinda the best choice. I printed with .15mm layer in PLA The -FAN part can be printed in any material too but what works for me best is to start printing it in PLA (0.2mm layer) and than when the first 3mm is done and the duct walls start to get printed I pause the print and replace the filament with TPU and it print in TPU to the end. This way the TPU arrests the vibrations of the FAN and the device is very very silent. There is no "switch/electronics compartment" as I just run two wires from the FAN to my psu but source is available so anyone can easily modify. There is nothing to hold the fan other than friction, it is tight fit (dimensions are exact) so fan will stay in place without a problem, if you have issue with it 2 dabs of hotglue will solve the problem :) p.s. you can use this to clean air in your printer enclosure too, it catches good amount of ABS stench if you just put it in your enclosure and leave it running during (and after) print and due to the shape of the filter you can put some charcoal pieces inside too, it helps with the odors (but good activated charcoal filters dedicated for this are def. better solution)
