Laser Pecker LP1 Pro Stand shield

Laser Pecker LP1 Pro Stand shield

Description

Stand for Laser Pecker LP1 and LP1 Pro 200mm focus length from LaserPecker to the worktop. Use 200mm x 100mm x 3mm orange translucent acrylic sheets as the shield. (adequate for the lower power laser of the LP1) Rubber band each side to hold the assembly together. Rubber band over the top for retain the LP1 unit. 3mm adhesive cork feet to provide grip (and fine tune the focal length!) I used aluminium tape on the inside and reinforced tape on the outside of the corners (there's a small gap between the panels which is a danger). This tape also allows the panels to fold up when not in use (I left one edge not joined, just adding a flap of aluminium tape to cover the gap.) I cut a 38mm hole and attached a 40mm fan, wired to a USB socket (with long lead to supply power to the assembly) - so I can plug the LP1 into this socket for power and fan runs continuously to draw out the smoke (smoke can affect some burning if it gets in the way!). Two size of spacers included - these are useful to raise the LP1 up (8mm + 16mm spacers) for small items that are fairly thick (eg wallets, wood blocks etc). Hope its useful to someone! Works really well for my uses, super happy so far!
