MPCNC 65mm Tool Mount (primo J)
Description
This is a beefed up 65mm tool mount for the MPCNC Primo J. It's based on my original design for my bosch colt router, which was a remix of the burly j mount. This time I modeled everything from scratch using Z tube spacing quoted from Ryan, and measured my Primo for clearances. I found room to reshape and add plastic where it attaches to the z tubes. So it is stronger, smoother (more curves vs angles, and no "remixing zits"), doesn't have the unused 6-32 holes, and most importantly fits the primo J like a glove. It is also compatible with my z-max limit switch. I used PLA, but you may need PETG or similar if your router gets hot. It bolts on to the primo-j using the same M8 hex bolts as the rest of the machine. Same goes for the hardware on the clamp. There are some M3 sized holes on the nose for a low profile vacuum attachment I'm still working on designing. I am also designing some drop in adapters for my Neje 40W laser and a drag knife... stay tuned!
