BMW Smartphone Cradle iPhone spacer
Description
This part is made for the "BMW ConnectedRide Cradle" Smartphoneholder for BMW Motorcycles in combination with a recent iPhone. It enables the iPhone to sit plane and stable in the cradle. I was very annoyed about the camera-bump of my iPhone 13 making my phone sit wobbly in the cradle. So I designed this piece of plastic to add some space for the rest of the iPhone. Mounting and tipps: Of course you need to glue the printed piece in place. You will want to use a removable glue. I used UHU patafix and it works like a charm. Dependent of the space that is added by your glue, you might want to thin the plastic part. For me it worked with a thickness of 2.5mm. Your milage may vary. Hint: Qi-Charging does not work for me in the cradle. It is at least unstable. The spacer does not seem to make a difference.
