USB buck converter case for Wyze cameras
Description
If you have a analog camera system like I do then you could take advantage of the 12v power supply that is running your cameras. You will need a buck converter that can take 12v and step it down to 5v, I have attached a link to Amazon. You will need to be able to solder 2 pins to the PCB and then solder your current 12v lines to the terminals. Make sure you have turned off the power before doing any of the work mentioned. The case is not water tight so be mind full of your mounting locations. you will also need 4 small course screw to secure the cover. I will be working on a new cover that slides on to make installation easier. I planned on using some 3M double sided tape for mounting the case to my roof eves.
