Description
A Givi "TankLock" system mounts a tankbag on the bike with a ring that goes around the gas cap. The bag clips to this, and you pull a lever and it unclips. My bike is electric, so it doesn't have a gas cap which means I can't use this system. The "tank" is plastic, so a magnetic tankbag doesn't work. There's nothing to strap to, so the strap style bags won't work either. However, the bike has 2 removable covers so you can get to the electronics under the "tank", held on a central spine by bolts. I use these bolts to mount a "bridge" to carry the TankLock ring, and avoid drilling into things.
