New 3DS XL Wide Ergonomic Grip
Description
This is an ergonomic grip for the New 3DS XL. There is nothing obstructing the headphone jack, power button, stylus, game cartridge slot, or charging port. I have rather large hands and I designed it to fit my specifications. I've also included a narrower version for people with normal sized hands. Please note that the top brackets snap into the little holes in the New 3DS XL, which I think are made for a wrist strap or something. In order to take the 3DS out of the ergonomic grip, one has to gently pry the top two tabs. Instructions: Please see photos. The grips print in two halves. I included alignment pins which can be printed and placed into the alignment holes and aid in adhering the two halves. I recommend using an 80% infill for the base piece (where the 3DS actually snaps in) for rigidity. The grips and alignment pins can be printed with 15% infill if you'd like. I also recommend printing on a smooth print sheet, rather than a textured one.
