Circular Holes Marking Template
Description
This is a template for marking various numbers of dots/holes in a circular pattern. In my case, I was building a wind chime and wanted precise locations in the top piece to place the strings for the hanging chimes. I thought this template/jig would be better than using a protractor, albeit it took a bit more time to write the code and print it (I get sidetracked easily :-) One can obviously mark every other, 3rd, or 4th hole etc if you'd like fewer holes. If the marks are not at the desired radius, make a mark and then draw a line from the center to whatever radial position you like (or of course you could scale this design). SCAD file included for further customization. When you get done using it as a template, put a pin in one hole and a pen in another and pretend it's a spirograph. :-)
