Crazy Rhomdo Plus - built from MF8's Doderhombus

Description

These are the pieces you need to turn a [Doderhombus Plus](https://www.cubezz.com/Buy-6862-MF8+Crazy+DodeRhombus+%283-layer+Face+Turning%29+Magic+Cube+Puzzle+Black.html) puzzle (made by MF8) into a Trapezo-Rhombic Dodecahedron, also known as a Rhomdo. Read more about this in my [post on the Twisty Puzzles forum](https://twistypuzzles.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=417966). *To build your own Crazy Rhomdo Plus, you will need the following:* - 1 x [Crazy Doderhombus Plus](https://www.cubezz.com/Buy-6862-MF8+Crazy+DodeRhombus+%283-layer+Face+Turning%29+Magic+Cube+Puzzle+Black.html), made by MF8. - 6 x Trapezoid 0-Face Centers - 6 x Trapezoid 1-Face Centers - 6 x Trapezoid Center Caps To assemble the puzzle, you'll only need a total of 6 Trapezoidal face centers, but you should print 6 of each type, so you can mix and match the 0-face and 1-face pieces to your heart's desire. **Assembly instructions:** 1. Disassemble the Doderhombus completely. Go until you are holding the white plastic core. 1. Unscrew the screw that goes through the middle of the core. Don't lose the nut! 1. Pull off either the upper or lower third of the core and rotate it until the pins and holes line up in a different way than they did before. Sorry I don't have pictures of this. You'll understand it when you see it. 1. Screw the core screw back into place. 1. Assemble 6 of the rhombic centers onto the core, with 6 of the original spherical modular core pieces, attaching the centers to the 6 screw holes that are not on the equator of the puzzle. 1. On the equator of the puzzle, assemble the 6 remaining modular core pieces. They kinda snap into place. 1. Screw a Trapezoid Center into each remaining hole in the core, being careful to orient them correctly (especially if they are 0-face centers!) 1. Start assembling the exterior pieces, beginning with three of the Rhombic faces. 1. When you reach a point where you need a piece with two colors that don't currently appear together on any existing piece, start harvesting the colors you need from pieces that do exist but aren't on the puzzle yet. This will work for everything except the last few 4-fold corners. 1. When you finish assembling, you'll need to swap around a few stickers on the 4-fold corners. 1. Assemble and sticker the trapezoidal center caps. Some additional notes: - I highly recommend you print this with a raft. It helps mitigate elephant's foot, and simplifies cleanup. - I prefer to orient these parts with the screw hole parallel to the build platform (see the photos). When you go to slice them, look closely at the circular bosses for the attaching the cap, and you will see that one of them has a small rectangular protrusion on its side. I added that so I could click on one of those faces to orient the part the way I wanted it.
