Harness Strap Tidy Reel
Description
Something to attach to 38mm Roll Bars and tidy loose straps of harnesses. Not in any way to hold the harness - just to stop the loose straps flapping around Needs M4 nuts and bolts to hold the roll bar mount and M5 nut and bolt to hold the reel to the roll bar mount. Self locking probably needed - tighten to stop it spinning once it's wrapped around. Works on 3 inch straps and probably on 2 inch ones too (although just fitted it - and not yet tested at a test day with vibration etc) Important that the first 20 layers of the reel are 100% or at least 80% infill as the M5 nut has to be pretty tight. I used 3DTomorrow BioPro – The Bio Based Alternative to PETG & ABS – 3D Printer Filament, 1kg, 1.75mm as the filament on an Ender 5, with a 55 deg bed temp and 225 nozzle.
