Dometic / Smev / Cramer cooker grid grommets mold
Description
Grommets mold for replacing original parts. You will need to print 2 outer and 2 inner molds to make 4 grommets at a time. As of now, I tried with Sikaflex 522. You need to leave it dry for several days because there is not a lot of air gaps, install them without the grids, put the grids than heat up a few times with a pan or a pot to finish the drying (ventilate well as it smells quite bad). The molding is good. After few weeks of use, the grommets are fine on the small burner but are crumbling on the large burner. I will try with another material, maybe high temperature silicon.
