Description
A Very Simple 2 Bearing Belt Idler I Designed For My Prusa I3 Printer. My Gt2 Belt Was Prematurely Wearing Out. The Cause Was The Gt2 Belt Hitting The Side Of The Stock Idler, This Design Uses 2 Bearings To Reduce Wear And Tear. Attaches To Both (Upper And Lower) 10Mm Threaded Rods To Ensure Bed Movement Is Minimized. Uses A Reduced 28Mm Profile To Allow For Max Printing Area. Suggested Bearing Size, 8Mm Inside Diameter X 22Mm Outside Diameter X 7Mm Wide. Combine With X2 Washers To Reduce Friction. Both High And Low Bearing Mount Versions Are Included Along With Source Sketchup Files.
