Its Konfiguration to Convert a Shimano 8 Speed shifter to use With a Shimano 10 Speed MTB Rear Derailleur Through different Ratio they are not compatibel but with that converter it is kompatibel. You Musst begin with the Smaller Ring. I Create it to use A 8 Speed Shimano Shifter and the Shimano RD-M6000 10 Speed Rear Derailleur. I test it in the next Days on my Bike. Perhaps it could be work on the other Way too
