Filament box
Description
I’ve designed this filament box to store the filament in while printing thingies. The spool holder is placed at the bottom, and there is sufficient space to add silica gel sachets or loose granules. As PETG offers better strength and is resistant to humidity I’ve printed the box with PETG (matte graphite and transparent). Basically no support is needed (if the items are placed correctly to print), except for the top of the box: best is to print it upside down and add support to the area where you have to place the hygrometer. Print the rolls standing upright, consider to add raft or brim. The spool rolls can handle different spool widths up to 80 mm. The box is designed for filament spools with a maximum diameter of 200 mm. The design is based on clicking the parts together, no glue is needed. Of course you need to sand some edges for a proper fit. That also depends on the quality of your print(-er).
