Beer - Soda Can Helmet - insect protection - fits EU 0,5l and 0,33l can (66mm diameter)

I was able to remix of the beer bottle helmet for FDM printing (https://www.printables.com/model/236264-beer-bottle-helmet-insect-protection-bierflaschenh) and I love the design, Now I was faced with the ban of glass bottles on my beloved WACKEN festival, so I had to come up with something for beer cans… ….so after some monstering in Meshmixer, 3D Builder and some design in FreeCAD, I can offer you the basic version fitting regular 0,5l and 0,33l EU (German) beer cans. The helmet is done quite solid which increases the weight which helps to press against the top of the can for a better seal. The pin is conic and depending on your printer tolerances needs to the sized to around 98% to fit in the arm without major force. The ring is done quite solid as well since when the can is getting empty its loosing stiffness and you still can use the ring to hold the can inside it. Also I included the FreeCAD file and the ring in STEP format if you want to adopt the ring for different can sizes (you might have to scale the helmet accordingly) This was also the reason I decided for a simple gluing assembly of the arm to the helmet which allows for slightly resized helmets. You can just print the helmet without the arm/ring and it will still seal the can. Let me know if you have any comments. PS: and I have to say sorry for the “Radler” can! Since I am still home I had to steal a can from the neighbors. I only have beer in bottles at home ;)
