1-100 Jigs-Assembly Aids for Modular Building Panels

Description

1-100 Assembly Aids for Modular Buildings Rev 0 1/100 Assembly aids (jigs) for my modular wargaming buildings. It quickly occurred to me when I started assembling some components, that alignment was going to be a problem. I then designed some simple jigs to hold the pieces in place while gluing them together. This set includes: Jig A - Double Wall Jig #1 - holds two flat wall panels back-to back for creating castle walls Jig B - Double Wall Jig #2 - smaller version of Jig A, does the same thing Jig C - Square, to keep walls vertical. could also be clamped in a corner. Jig D - Tower Wall Jig - I am working on a set of parts to make round towers for castles Jig E - Square Corner Jig - holds two walls at a 90-degree angle Jig F - Straight Wall Jig #1 - holds two flat panels edge-to-edge Jig G - Straight Wall Jig #2 - smaller version of F, does the same thing Jig H - Double Wall Spacer - holds two flat wall panels the correct distance apart. These are glued to the wall panels and become part of the model. Use these with Jig A or Jig B Annotated images of these jigs in use are included. Since cyanoacrylate glue (superglue) could permanenlt attach the jig to the model, I put openings or gaps in the jigs to avoid this. This set will be expanded as needed These models by waynemc65 are licensed under the Creative Commons - Attribution - Non-Commercial - Share Alike license.
