Bag Clip with Integrated Screw Cap
Description

For when you want to access something without taking off the clip (cereal, grain, flour, coffee, etc.)
This is my take on the idea of a bag clip with a screw lid. The main benefit is that you don't need to take it off to get something out of the bag.
Why do you want my version?

You don't need a third hand to put this on since the middle part is attached to the main hinge.

The cap takes only 1/5 of a turn to screw/unscrew, and you can do it with one hand.

The hinges are shared with my new Print-in-Place Bag Clip, which is even more robust than the first one.

No support, no post processing, no assembly. Just put it on a bag and screw the lid on.

It prints in about 2 hours depending on the size.

There are multiple sizes and a source file if you want to make your own.

How to print?

As with all bag clips, you can use PLA, but PETG will last longer.

Make sure you have a clean and level bed

Setting are included in the 3mf file (all standard, no support or brim needed)

How to use?

Let it cool after printing

The hinges will be a bit stuck, this is normal. Trying to close the clip will free them.

Open the arms all the way

Insert the bag between the hinge and the middle part

Put the bag around the middle and close the arms

Close the latch

Put on the lid

Need help?
I've made a comprehensive troubleshooting guide for all my bag clips. You can find it in the description of my Print-in-Place Bag Clip.
