CrunchLabs has monthly build boxes with crafts. Build Box #1 is a disc launcher that comes with six discs. Your kid will probably ask you to print them some more discs. Mine did. Printed at .2mm layer height, no support, no brim/raft, in PLA+, on a Creality Ender 3. The flight could be improved by changing the curvature of the disc.
