DJI Mavic Mini (SE) mounting clip/adapter
Description
I couldn't find the right mounting clip for a small drone delivery I had to get on video, so I made my own. Design: The clip is designed such that you can attach something to it. It just clicks onto the Mavic Mini. For definite security I added a slot for a zip tie. On top there is a small hole such that you can use a threaded insert, or screw to get something mounted to the clip if you don't want to use glue. Design was tested with Mavic Mini and Mavic Mini SE, however I believe it would fit on all Mavic Mini versions. I tried to put the design on top of the center of mass of the drone such that it influences flight as little as possible. Printing: I printed the clip without any supports, the overhang angles are not that steep. Depending on the strength and layer adhesion of your printer you might want to play with layer height, temps and infill. Notes: The zip tie slightly touches the cooling block inside the mavic but I have not seen any issues with that while testing. If the clip does not seem to fit, you might have to turn it 180 degrees, there is a slight angle such that it fits the body of the drone. Sorry for the crappy images, never took proper ones.
