Pop Socket Replacement Twist-Lock
Description
My girlfriend broke her favorite Pop Socket that she can't buy anymore so I figured I could fix it. Here's my attempt at a replacement locking tab(?) for the pop socket. For metal pop sockets, this piece can be removed and installed by removing the metal face (It's adhered on, just warm it up and pull), pushing the piece in with the locking tabs in first, then hot gluing the face back on. Hot glue will work best here, and I'm pretty sure that's what was used originally. Haven't tried to fix the cheaper plasticky pop sockets yet... Printed w/ 0.4mm Nozzle @ .1mm layer height E: 238C B: 85C Speed: 50mm/s Retraction enabled Print cooling enabled, 100% Yes supports Honestly this print doesn't seem super sensitive to poor print settings. However, this is a very small part (13x13x4.2mm) and the teeth on the face gear tend to squish a bit since those are t i n y. If you *really* care about it, I'd use a .2mm nozzle, but it's passable and functional w/ a .4mm
