BIQU H2 5015 + 4020 Fan Duct / Mount
Description
This is version 2 of the 5015 fan duct I made for the BIQU H2 extruder. It is a remix of a remix, sort of. I started from scratch on the design and just kinda remembered how the other one was done. This one was modeled purely off the included drawing in the H2 manual and the actual fans to be mounted. There's also a version for a 4020 fan size (shown in the photos). This is the one I've been using, as it's a lower profile than the 5015 and actually moves more air: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2251832688625526.html - It moves a claimed 5.46 CFM at 8000 RPM! And yes, it is decently loud at that speed. Buy at least three and use the best one, cuz you know, China gives us the consistency we pay for :) Improvements over the old version: * Greater airflow * Better access to mounting screws * Height adjustability * Better part clearance * Looks cooler * IS cooler - literally :) Detractions over the old version: * Needs supports * Makes the old version feel inferior and unwanted Be sure to print in PETG or ABS unless you want a glob of melted plastic where the tips of your fan duct used to be.
