Anicubic i3 Mega S and P, Z Stop Photoelectric barrier
Description
Bracket set for converting the Z limit switch. The forked light barriers can be found on Ebay or Amazone under the term Arduino fork light barriers and cost between 3 and 6 bucks For the function, a 5 volt power supply must be drawn, which can be found on the mainboard The function of the fork light barrier is unfortunately inverted, there are two possibilities for this problem: 1 Flash your firmware with Marlin and invert the inputs of the Z endstops or 2: Swap the two connections of the operational amplifier (+-) with each other (very good soldering skills required) as can be seen in the photo The original screws, nuts and mounting points can be used for assembly, only two additional M3 screws are required. Black plastic should definitely be used for the light interrupters, as other colors are illuminated and the switch does not trigger. The conversion to a light barrier has resulted in a significant improvement in the Z-axis positioning for me and a BLTouch is therefore no longer required. I wish you a lot of fun with the conversion, may the first layer always fit :-)
