Description

This is an easy print turntable to The most is really self-explanatory. Just two things: Because stepper motors can get very hot, the Pla or other filament could melt. To prevent the whole top from damage, I designed an adapter to connect the top with the stepper which you can print in just a couple of minutes. You don't need to buy ball-bearings. Of course the table need a bearing that is why the top lies direct on balls, which you can print yourself. Depending on the accuracy of your printer it works pretty good. With a bit of silicon spray the top runs very smoothly. Also you don't need much of the balls just print the Ball Balls.stl once. Note: Print the Adapter with 100% infill and the Balls on a raft without Supports. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ELECTRONIC ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I give you a short manual how to set it all up. I use: - 28BYJ-48 stepper motor - an Arduino nano - a ULN2003 stepper motor driver not necessary but useful: - a capacitive touch sensor or just a button - maybe in the future an infrared LED to send a signal to the camera to take an image. - WiFi modul to control the table with your smartphone the construction of the circuit is pretty easy. Just connect the cables from the motor with the driver. the driver has an input from 5-12 V. On that contact you attach the pluspol and the ground(GND). The IN1, IN2, IN3 and IN4 contacts go into the digital inputs of the Arduino. The Touch Sensor has a pluspol, ground and a Digital output. - Ground to Ground - Plus to the 3.3 V Output of the Arduino Nano - D output to one of the D inputs of the Arduino.
