Projector Screen Mount

Projector Screen Mount

Description

These are mounts for creating a DIY projector screen. Aside from basic tools, you will also need the following items: -projector screen material (I recommend checking out Carl's place, as they have a wide variety of projector screen specific materials. I used their "ultra white" which rolls well. https://shop.carlofet.com/ultra-white-projector-screen-material) -1.375" dowel rod (The current .stl model is 1.3775" ID to allow for some shrinkage. I used a poplar 1.375" closet rod from Lowes.. It is important to find a very very straight one. You may download the .step file and modify to your liking if you wish to use something else for the rod. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Madison-Mill-120-in-L-x-1-375-in-H-x-1-375-in-W-Wood-Closet-Rod/3820975) -2x bearings! (I use 1-3/8"x2-1/2"x9/16" R22-2RS https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B088HFQFWR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) -#10 ball chain (like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01I1VCIH2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1) -#4 screws (I use these to attach the screen to the projector. Pro-tip, make sure they're in nice and straight in the radial direction. Use a string or other alignment device to insure they are axially aligned as well) -foam padding strip, 1"x1/16" thick (I use this to cover the screws since they will absolutely tear up the screen when you try to roll it up if you do not cover them! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WK2J1BN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) -poplar board (This part will add some weight and rigidity to the bottom of the screen. The exact material and dimensions don't matter as much. This is what I used: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Common-1-in-x-2-in-x-10-ft-Actual-0-75-in-x-1-5-in-x-10-ft-Poplar-Board/1000073891)
