plasma cutter guide
Description
A simple guide that clamps to a handheld plasma cutting torch. The guide uses 2 roller skate bearings as wheels to give a smooth cutting line when dragged against a square or other straight edge. This is a plastic construction and will not tolerate high sustained temperatures, but when cutting thin metal, the cutting durations are usually very quick. A 3mm socket head cap screw is used to provide the clamping force. Full source code is provided for this openscad design to allow you to change the design as required for your torch. I use an S45 torch on a multifunction Everlast tig/stick/plasma cutter welder.
