Description
Do you have a Soviet-era Trabant or other Eastern European car with a cracking washer pump lid? Or maybe the pump motor runs but the drive coupling is stripped out resulting in no washer fluid squirting on the windshield? This kit of parts can help you rebuild your original pump, or at least cover the gaping hole left in the tank if you elect to use a more modern pump. The Lid with no holes will cover the 70mm hole in your washer tank left when the pump is removed. The lid with one hole for the washer fluid hose can be used with an external pump. And of course, for the daring, the Lid with Drive Coupling and Drive Coupling Retainer can be used to reconstruct your deteriorated original pump. The lid has all of the original holes and is dimensioned so the the lower part of the submerged pump can be carefully cut away from a ruined lid and glued onto the replacement lid.
