University of YouTube Certified Plaque
Description
I got the idea from another design I seen on here and thought it would be a good little wall piece for my workshop, Designed in Fusion 360 I printed the Spanner (wrench for my American friends) and Play button parts separate so they can be printed in separate colours then glued to the plaque, note that the play button in the F3D file the middle triangle can be printed separately. I printed the main plaque first and once the base had printed and it started on the lettering I paused the print and changed the filament to white, Do this at your own risk, I've done this plenty on my Ender 3 and it works perfectly about 8 times out of 10 but the other 2 times it will just stop and not restart printing, I used the same method for printing the spanner so I could have white lettering. I printed the spanner and play button parts in the standard profile on Cura and the main plaque I used Cheps Filament Friday Extra Fast profile (can be had from links in his youtube channel). The Spanner is a little small so I just scaled it up in Cura on the X and Y axis only. The fusion 360 file is included which includes all parts if you want to re-do this for yourself, Ideally I would have liked it a little bigger but its as big as my printer bed allows, maybe time to get a bigger machine... If you do remake this then please tag me so I can see what you've made, I'm no expert in 3d printing or fusion 360, just learning and trying as I go with a bin full of waste filament to prove it.
