Paraglider Teaching Tool
Description
I built this thing to help me discuss and show paraglider wing form and riser adjustments and how it affects the wing. The whiteboard this is all mounted on it 17"x23". Risers webbing are about 4.5" long, longer would make speed bar demonstration easier. Definitely don't make it any shorter. I used small eyelet screws to attach the elastic at the top and the riser carabiner at the bottom. Lines are just typical masonry string colored with sharpie. Wing requires 4x M3x10 (I think they're x10...) screws, glued in to allow ease of movement. As shown, I can mimic braking, C-riser flaring, speed bar, trims, B-line stalls, and more, making notes on the whiteboard as I go. A great teaching tool for one evening of arts and crafts work.
