Pi1541 case

Pi1541 case

Description

Yet another enclosure for a popular, Raspberry PI-based emulator of Commodore’s 1541 disk drive. I've opted for a more utility design while maintaining the look of something that could have been launched together with the original C64C. If you want to learn more about emulator’s hardware and software, check: - [Pi1541 emulator page](https://cbm-pi1541.firebaseapp.com/) - [Pi1541 Adapter blog](https://www.hackup.net/tag/pi1541/) ### Features - Full enclosure of the electronics (including the DIN sockets). - OLED display can be mounted in any orientation. - Ventilation holes for passive cooling. - Option to move POWER and ACTION LEDs of the adapter to the front panel. - The case can be assembled without the front panel, leaving access to Pi’s USB and Ethernet ports. - The case can be used as a generic Raspberry Pi enclosure with space left for standard-sized shields. Dimensions of the assembled case (W × L × H): 68 mm × 98 mm × 47 mm ### Suggested printing settings - material: PETG or PLA - layer height: 0.2 or higher - supports: suggested for case_bottom, not required in case of other parts ### Additonal parts To complete this project, you will also need: - 4 × M2,5 bolts, 25 mm or longer, - 4 × M2 bolts, 3 mm long, - connector to the OLED display (usually 4-pin male-female Molex - check your Pi1541 adapter and OLED display for the actual connector required), - (optional) stickers – you will need to print the attached SVG file - (optional) wires with connectors to move power and action LED to the front panel.
