HP WMR holder for head fan
Description
This is an adapter for the [**HP's Windows Mixed Reality**](https://support.hp.com/es-es/product/hp-windows-mixed-reality-headset-metal/17625703/model/18131587/manuals). This adapter clears your forehead (see the images below) so VR sessions are not that hot.   For better cooling consider using one of those [head fans](https://amzn.eu/d/9MBODE8), so not only provides support for the mount, but also provides cooling.  # How to mount First you need to remove the old adapter; you can check [Daniel Falconer's HP WMR Headset with HTC Vive Deluxe Audio Strap Mod video](https://youtu.be/e856E0MvUjo?t=240), but basically it consists of 3 steps: removing the sticker, unscrew the screws, and pull the adapter up (getting two small pieces in the process). Then, insert the wmr_holder joining the two wmr_adapter pieces. The length is tight, so ensure that the holder stands out equally in both adapters. Join the adapter with the two small pieces that you should've gotten in step 1. Insert the pieces back into the hole, and screw them. For more stability and security\*, I strongly recommend using a plastic clamp at least on one side, as shown below.  \*If the holder breaks, by joining the cable to the mount ensures that the VR won't fall to the floor.
