Mizmo = Manta wing planform + Blended Wing Body Design & Construction • Experimental BWB flying wing • Planform: Manta Wing + BWB • Wing airfoil: PW modified, transitional with aerodynamic washout • Body airfoil: Geode's experimental BWB airfoil • Fully 3D printed with PLA • Build Volume Requirements: 220mm x 220mm x 200mm Vital • Span - 48 in (120 cm) • Area - 320 in2 (20.7 dm2) • Mass - 24 oz (680 g) • Loading - 10.8 oz/ft2 (32.9 g/dm2) Setting • CG: ~182mm from the Nose (add additional margin for maiden flight) Order List • Spar cap CF tripe - 0.5 x 10 x 1000 mm (3x) [Usage: 1000 & 500mm - 2x each] • Tail boom CF tube - OD/ID 4mm/3mm x 500 mm [Usage: 200 & 105mm - 1x each] • Servo/RX - micro servos ~20g (2x), 4 ch Rx • Battery - 4x AAA • Pushrod/Clevis - 2-56 (2x) • Misc: Regular PLA 1.75mm/1Kg spool, thin/thick CA, CA accelator, 200 grit sand paper, etc.
