Dice Tray & Storage with Tablet Support
Description

DICE TRAY w/ SHIELD, DICE & MINIATURE STORAGE, TABLET SUPPORT
I remixed mattbart637's dice tray (heavily) and added some custom features. This one includes storage for 4 different sets of dice, along with room for 2+ miniatures. It also features a rolling tray with an additional backstop (I tend to bounce them out). There are two versions of the lid/tray, one includes a dragon image that can be printed as a separate feature and glued in afterward. All of the accessories stay firmly attached and make a nice travel set once magnets are applied properly. I printed these out of PETG, but I am certain that PLA would be fine. It's very rugged. I've also included some thin insert pieces that can be printed in TPU to help deaden the sounds. For mine, I found and cut out some 1/4" foam backed fabric that works perfectly. Basic build details: - All of the features are attached via 10mm x 5mm magnets. (you'll need 16 magnets) - The magnets are glued in place after printing. READ BELOW BEFORE ATTACHING - The Tray Insert and Dice Insert should be printed in TPU and can be glued in place after printing. - Four Dice Inserts (if used) need to be printed. - The lid without the dragon insert can be printed top side down without supports. - If you print the lid with the dragon insert, I suggest printing the dragon side down and use supports. - The dragon insert can be printed without supports (and without a brim if possible) and can be glued in place after printing.
READ THIS BEFORE ASSEMBLING MAGNETS!!
- MAKE SURE the magnets are in the correct orientation before gluing. - I would start with the magnets in the lid/tray with the lid in the dice tray mode. (These lid magnets attach both to the base and to the accessories) Make sure all four lid/tray magnets are in the same orientation. - Then proceed to add the magnets to the base. Use the magnets in the lid as a guide to properly orient the magnets in the base. They should stick together. - After the base, put the magnets in the accessories. The accessories (both the tray shield and the tablet support) should attach to the lid/tray when it is in dice tray mode - Finally use the accessories to orient the magnets on the top surface of the lid (dragon side if you used that version) When finished. The lid should cover the dice and miniatures and stay firmly attached. The accessories can attach to the top surface of the lid and will also stay firmly attached.
