Psittacosaurus Sp. Vertebralis Ribs

Psittacosaurus Sp. Vertebralis Ribs

Description

Psittacosaurus, Protoceratops, and Triceratops all have a beak with a hook similar to a parrot. Psittacosaurus is not large, generally about two meters long. There is a fossil specimen that showed that the tail of Psittacosaurus has some feather-like structures. Palaeontologists speculate that they may communicate with each other through a display of feathers. In this specimen, neatly arranged vertebral and ribs are clearly visible. According to its ash-like covering and occurrence, it can be inferred that this Psittacosaurus died in a volcanic eruption, and a large amount of volcanic ash covered the Psittacosaurus in a short time and it suffocated. This project is a collaboration between 'Buddhist Wong Fung Ling College' and 'dot 3D FACTORY' in Hong Kong. We hope to make fragile fossils available to every student with 3D replication technology. The fossil exhibits are owned by Mr Leung, a former student of BWFLC.
