Configurable Slide-Out Mouse Pad
Description
I initially designed this to add a mousepad to an old ChromeBook, but it could easily be adapted for adding a small slide-out surface to other devices, tables and desks. The attached STL file is a fairly small mousepad. I kept the surface relatively thin to shorten print time. This ends up making it a bit more flexible than I would've preferred, but still workable. Note: This model assumes the slider is attached using 1mm thick double-sided tape. If you're planning on generating a custom one in OpenSCAD, there are a few things to consider: - the w value is the width (left-to-right) of the pad that sticks out past the slider; the actual rendered pad is larger to accommodate the width of the slider - for convenience, the included feet are the same width as the slider; it's useful to set that value (sw) to the width of whatever tape you're planning on using - it's important to set the tth (tape thickness) to the thickness of the tape you'll be using; this affects the overall height of the slider and the height of the feet
